Moon,

Queen of the nocturnal firmament,
Stars garnish your resplendent garment.
You trifle with the romantics,
Enthral them with your antics.
Nor poets nor lovers can get enough of you ;
“Moon-like beauty”, they say, but is it ever true?Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 
Tu es la beautƩ , yet stippled with flaws.
A glamour that transcends the perfectionist laws.
In the confounding depths of infinity,
You are a glimmering orb of hope.
I write for you, in awe of your halo;
A seraphic beauty the clouds endeavour to swallow.
You light up the otherwise despairing night,
To the rueful hearts you’re an emollient sight.
You are the glory of the poet’s pen,
Keep us on our feet , till we see you again.
Are you demure or full of pride?
Why disappear in darkness ; my lost guide?
Oh, you are a mirror of the ways of life!
There’s no light but we can still survive.
And then there’s you on a full moon night,
A blooming beauty , a treat to the sight.
The reward for those who still push on,
And wait for you , while you are gone!

  3. I read all of them this is pretty much the both balanced with words, meanings and tunes of rhythms. Rest I’ll ask you to work more on the character building their personality, lifestyle, habits every small detail. It’ll work wonders. Always thrive to deliver more.

    1. Hey! Thank you so much for the advice šŸ§”. For the other forms of writing that I engage in like stories etc… I do try to get into the intricate details, because I totally believe they make people connect more. For poems however, so far, I have always felt that they should be suggestive and leave a lot of room for imagination. I try to talk about feelings and hope people will connect to that in their own way. They will fill in the details in their unique way. But now that you said that, I’ll definitely think about it šŸ§”šŸ˜Š. And thank you so much for reading them all. šŸ’«šŸ’«šŸ’«Means a lot ā¤ļø

  16. Chill,calm,a blessing friend and a face still beautiful often having spots..everytime walking with us..he is only one..but still shared by everyone..romantic songs on him..every girl has a crush on him..but still single…
    Someone wants him,someone cries looking after him,beside getting warm from his partner SUN still remains chill and friendly..
    Last thing that I want to tell him is that keep supporting your FRIEND earth…he needs you and through him..EVERYBODY needs you!!
